ASSEMBLY AREA <br /> Proceed to the Assembly Area which is just east of the Stribley Park Baseball field. <br /> MONITOR MOVEMENT <br /> Alternate Area Wardens/FTC will: <br /> 1. Grab the Black Bag Emergency Preparedness bag from their area <br /> 2. As exiting the building, ensure those who need help are being aided in the evacuation process <br /> 3. Monitor movement of personnel to the Assembly Areas. Pay particular attention to intersection <br /> at Della and Hazelton. <br /> 4. Take initiative to correct any safety concerns that arise en route to Assembly Areas. <br /> METHOD FOR ACCOUNTABILITY OF EMPLOYEES <br /> Alternate Area Wardens/FTC will: <br /> 1. Station themselves at the Assembly Area with their department. <br /> 2. Use the department employee roster in the Black Back to ensure all employees are accounted <br /> for. <br /> 3. Inform Area Wardens of unaccounted employees. <br /> PREVENT ENTRY <br /> Security Officer and Alternate Area Wardens will: <br /> 1. Prevent entry to building(i.e. notify anyone attempting to enter that the building is being <br /> evacuated due to emergency); keep doors clear for security lines. <br /> ENSURE AREA IS CLEAR <br /> FTC will: <br /> 1. Establish External Command Center with First Responders. <br /> 2. Direct the Area Wardens to station themselves at the facility entrances and prevent entry by <br /> unauthorized persons. <br /> 3. From the External Command Post, coordinate activities with Police, Fire Department and the <br /> CAO's office. <br /> Area Wardens will: <br /> 1. Check area to ensure evacuation has taken place. Physically check area as well as verbally <br /> announce that the building is being evacuated (i.e. "The building is being evacuated. Is there <br /> anyone in here?"). <br /> 2. Note the number and location of people needing assistance, and type of assistance needed. <br /> 3. Notify the FTC if additional assistance is needed with mobility of people evacuating. <br /> 4. Evacuate themselves using appropriate exit routes. <br />
