CHRONOLOGY <br /> JIFFY LUBE <br /> 1130 N MAIN ST <br /> MANTECA, CA 95336 <br /> 04/15/99 A 1000-gallon waste oil underground storage tank(UST)was removed at the above <br /> referenced site by URSA Engineering. No holes in the tank or odor in soil sample was <br /> evident. Tank was transported and disposed to Erickson in Richmond,and rinsate to De <br /> Menno/Herdoon in Compton,California. <br /> 05/07/99 Analytical results of the soil sample from beneath the tank at 12 feet below surface grade <br /> were 6.5 parts per billion of MTBE. 37 parts per million of motor oil was detected in the <br /> soil sample from the stockpile. Other results of the soil samples from the excavation and <br /> from below the piping were not-detect. <br /> 06/16/99 Prop-65 and Unauthorized Release Report were filed by San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services Environmental Health Division(PHS/EHD) <br /> 08/12/99 Due to historically high ground water in the area and the detection of MTBE in the soil <br /> beneath the UST,the site was placed into Local Oversight Program.Notification of <br /> Responsibility was sent to the RP. <br /> I <br /> 12/15/99 One Geoprobe boring was drilled at the center of the tank area. A soil sample and <br /> groundwater sample was collected at approximately 14 feet below surface grade. <br /> I <br /> I <br /> 01/10/00 Analytical results of the samples not accepted. Samples were analyzed after acceptable <br /> limit of time in storage has expired. <br /> 01/28/00 Soil sample and groundwater samples were collected by Geoprobe boring at the site. 4 <br /> 02/25/00 PHS/EHD received EPA Method 8260 analytical results of the soil and groundwater <br /> samples: not-detect for all oxygenates analyzed. <br /> 05/04/00 Received RTO certification. <br /> 08/21/00 Submitted site for closure. k <br /> E <br /> h <br /> f <br />
