GROUND WATER EXTRACTION PILOT TEST' <br /> The ground water extraction procedures for the site were outlined in Additional Site Assessment and <br /> j .Ground Water Extraction Workplan, dated 29 December 2000, prepared by AGE,•approved by the <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services.- Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) by letter <br /> dated 11 January 2001. <br /> On 30 August 2001,,'a twelve-hour aquifer pump.test was performed at the site to assess the general <br /> ground water aquifer characteristic's and'to assess aquifer response to-ground water extraction at a <br /> constant pumping rate utilizing well EW-1' for ground water extraction and wells MW-1,,MW-2, <br /> MW-3, MW-4, MW-5, MW-8 acid MW-9 as observation wells..Three ground water samples were; <br /> collected from'the extracted ground'water; purged ground water was containerized in-ari on-site <br /> 6;500-gallon poly tank(Baker tank): <br /> A UIFER TEST. <br /> Ground extraction testing consisted ofpum ing groundwater froin well EW-1 afa'rate of 5 gallons '- <br /> 1 , per minute GpM .
