This fluctuation is
consistent with seasonal (summer to fall) changes in groundwater depth in the area.
' The groundwater gradient and flow direction in August, September and October was
calculated to be 0.011 ft/ft directed N 310 W (Figure 3), 0.009 ft/ft directed N 430 W (Figure
4) and 0,015 ft/ft directed N 130 W (Figure 5), respectively. The gradients and flow
directions for these three months are consistent with previous calculations.
4.2 Petroleum Hydrocarbon Impacted Groundwater
' TPH as stoddard solvent was detected in MW-1, MW-2, and MW-3 at concentrations of 160
ppb, 600 ppb and 880 ppb, respectively. Benzene, Ethylbenzene, and Total Xylenes were
detected in MW-3 at concentrations of 1.2 ppb, 15 ppb, and 2.4 ppb, respectively. Toluene
was not detected in any of the samples. Analytical results of groundwater samples are
summarized in Table 4. The laboratory report and chain-of-custody are included in
Appendix B.
0e.6001 A.&s.Nie 1...
xw.n.a i.QRMO.K 3 7
