The laboratory report (CTEL
Pr6ject-No.:CT214-0509028);quality.assurance and.quality control (QA/QC)report's, and chain of;
custady'form are included in Appendix C.
4.0. SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS' ,Y `
Based ori the findings from'this investigation,'AGE concludes:
• . At the time of the September 2005 sampling event, depths to ground water at the, site ranged l ,
from 26.69'feet;to 27.09 feet below the tops of the well casings. Ground water elevation at
Ahe site averaged approximately 18.16'feet.below MSL, indicating an average, decrease in
. ground water elevation of 1.39 feet since the'last monitoring event-in June Tune 2005.
'Ground water was inferred to be flowing toward the southwest under a hydraulic gradient'of.
approximately 0.009 ft/ft;the ground water flow direction is consistent-with historical flow
directions at this site.
' . TPH-g and MTBE were detected in the ground water sample collected from well MW-1 at
concentrations .of 200 ggll and 210 µg/l, respectively. With the exception of 1,2-DCA
'detected in well-MW-1 at the time of the initial ground water-sampling event'on 07 April ,
2003,,no other target analytes have been detected in wells MW-1 through.MW-3.
• The-concentration of MTBE is above the DHS' Maximum Contaminant,-Level (MCL) of
13 µg/1 for drinking water.
The.lateral'extent of dissolved MTBE plume isnot yet defined generally west of the site.• • ,
5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
;Based on the findings ofthe environmental activities recounted in this report, AGE recommends:
' Continuation of-quarterly ground water monitoring at the site; the fourth quarter 2005 ,
monitoring event'was performed•on 25 November 2005.
Additional site-asse'ssm' ent to determine the vertical and-lateral extents of dissolved MTBE'.
YA
J..
' ,' Advanced GeOEnvironmental,Inc.
