INTRODUCTION
At the request of Mr.Mike Ali,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc. (AGE)has prepared the enclosed`,
l i I
- - I
quarierly report for'th'e'property located at 244'West Harding Way,'Stockton, California. The scope, r
of work included ground water monitoring and.sampling, laboratory sample-analysis;'submission of
monitoring.-;and analytical data,,to the State -Water Resources Control' Board's: GeoTr- ker
information management system; and preparation of this report. The site,and.surrounding.area are =w I d
illustrated on-Figure-l.Oin-site structures;soil borings,and monitoring well locations are illustrated, '
on,Figure 2.'Site liackground'.information is included in Appendi "'A. '
i • -
2:0. • ,PROCEDURES
Field procedures,were performed in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control
Board (CVRWQCB) guidelinesfor-the.investigation of underground storage tank.(UST) sites and '
' San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)'guidelines for the sampling of ground'
water monitoring wells.
2.1.' WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION'
On 16 .June 2005, the depth to ground water in monitoring wells MW-1 through.MW-3 was
measured from the'top of each well casing to themearest"0.01-foot"utilizing a•Solinst water level
meter. Groundwater-elevation in'each well was calculated by subtracting the measured depth to; '
ground iwater froni'the surveyed easing elevation("Table 1)
" , _ . • . - .. , . - - •_ it
After water levels were measured, approximately 9 gallons of water (a minimum.of three"casing' k5'.
water volumes per well)were purged from the each well using dedicated,disposable plastic bailers.'
Ground water temperature,pH,and conductivity were measured'at regular intervals for stabilization, ".
during purging using an Oakton"water analyzer. Field sheets and:data are-included in-Appendix'B.
Pur ed water was stored on-site in properly labeled,Department ofTransp'ortation DOT -ap?roved
55-gallon drums pending proper disposal.
' 2.2.- COLLECTION-OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES
Ground water samples were collected from the monitoring wells,using disposable plastic bailers;
these bailers were.disposed,of after one use, thereby minimizing cross-contamination due to
•. .sampling devices. Each ground water sample was collected into three 40-milliliter (ml) volatile
•' organic analysis, (VOA)- vials.,containing 0:5 -ml 18%, hydrochloric 'acid solution as a sample ;
1
Advanced GeoEnvironmentst,Inc. , .
