' TreadvvelOW10 <br /> • <br /> ' 5 0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> The soil and groundwater remediation tasks proposed in the 14 February 2005 workplan for the <br /> Site have been completed All soil proposed for excavation around former sample CPT-EXC- <br /> BT19 has been excavated and sent off-site for disposal or reuse Soil sample CPT-EXC-BT19 <br /> contained TPHg concentrations of 2,300 mg/kg, and sample CPT-EXC-25, collected at the <br /> ' bottom of the excavation approximately 6-feet below CPT-EXC-BT19, did not contain any <br /> detectable TPHg concentrations <br /> Approximately 7,500 gallons of hydrocarbon impacted groundwater was pumped out of the <br /> excavation and disposed of in the sanitary sewer The former excavation area was backfilled as <br /> described in Section 4 6 Prior to backfilling, 800 pounds of ORC® was added to the excavation <br /> to accelerate the bioremediation of impacted groundwater <br /> The 14 February 2005 workplan for the Site included a proposed groundwater monitonng <br /> program As discussed in the workplan, the planned site development includes installing new <br /> ' utility lines and replacing sidewalks where monitoring well locations are planned The <br /> development is scheduled to be completed in early to mid-2006 and monitoring work can begin <br /> ' at that time <br /> ' 6.0 LIMITATIONS <br /> ' Activities undertaken as part of this remediation work was conducted on behalf of the City of <br /> Stockton to assess the presence of petroleum hydrocarbons in soil and groundwater in the <br /> ' vicinity of the former UST locations No other party should rely on the information presented in <br /> this document without the express written permission of Treadwell &Rollo <br /> The conclusions presented in this report are professional opinions based on the specific activities <br /> conducted Treadwell &Rollo makes no guarantees or warranties with respect to the accuracy or <br /> completeness of this information Opinions and recommendations presented herein apply to site <br /> ' 25971024 DGD 9 7 June 2005 <br />
