- asWAA
Working To Restore Nature
Groundwater samples were collected from wells MW-1, MW-2, and MW-4 through MW-7 after
purging and stabilization of pH, electrical conductivity (EC), and temperature Floating
hydrocarbon product was noted in well MW-3 and measured to be approximately 1 80 feet in
thickness Approximately 1 25 liters of free product was removed from MW-3 by bailing
Monitoring well purge logs are included in Attachment 1
Laboratory Analysis
Groundwater samples were analyzed for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes, and total
petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline by EPA methods 8020 and modified 8015, respectively
Laboratory analysis indicates the presence of petroleum hydrocarbons in the samples collected
from MW-1, MW-2, MW-4, MW-6, and MW-7 Petroleum hydrocarbons were not present at
or above method detection limits in the sample collected from well MW-5 The analytical
results are summarized in Table 2, the laboratory reports and chain-of-custody documentation
are presented in Attachment 2
RESNA will continue the quarterly monitoring program at this site, the next sampling event will
be performed in May 1994 If you have any questions regarding this project, please contact me
at our Escalon office (209) 838-3507
.
