�y <br /> respectively <br /> Groundwater samples were collected using a new disposable bailer dedicated to each well. Each <br /> sample was collected in three 40 ml VOA bottles supplied by the analytical laboratory After <br /> filling, each bottle was inverted and checked for headspace, labeled, logged on a chain-of- <br /> custody, and immediately placed in an iced cooler. <br /> Stockpiled Soil Sampling <br />' On 7 February 1994, 1 collected six (6) soil samples from the soil pile northwest of the station <br /> building The sample locations were chosen by visually dividing the pile into six relatively equal <br /> segments. One sample was collected from each of the six segments. The samples were <br />' collected in laboratory supplied 6-mch brass tubes. Each sample was collected by digging <br /> approximately 1-foot into the soil pile to expose a fresh surface. The brass to was driven into <br /> the unconsolidated soil. Upon removal, the tube was sealed with tight fitting plastic caps, <br /> labeled, logged on a chain-of-custody, placed into a zip lock'' bag, and immediately stored in <br /> an iced cooler. <br />' <br /> 5 <br />
