I brouTht this to the attention of the <br />job supervisor who, at that time, had his employees build a small dike <br />around the well site. <br />As we stated this morning, we are of the opinion that surface con- <br />taminated water was allowed to enter the well during drilling operations; <br />therefore, causing the {problem which was discovered at the time the first <br />samples were taken from the new well. The samples were taken on January <br />13, 1989. <br />I am enclosing two copies of time sheets from EINSW which verify our <br />statements to .you this mornini�. <br />We are definitely of the opinion that tine contamination was a tem- <br />porary condition and is substantiated by the fact tliat the last two test <br />samples taken in April Fan(] July of this year proved to be negative. <br />If I can help you in an,y way, please let ane knots. <br />c' rely ,yours, <br />Wm.
