In order for us to have a productive meeting and for Shell and
Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc. to be more adequately prepared, we would like to
request a meeting agenda.
As Shell has stated numerous times, we are eager to implement interim remediation at this
site. Shell initially proposed a groundwater extraction program consisting of a five-day
extraction event once per quarter in December 2002. Had we been allowed to proceed,
three events could have been completed by now. Therefore, we request that we be allowed
to implement the proposed interim remediation while we work together to develop a
remediation strategy for the site that is acceptable to all parties.
Sincerely,
Shell Oil Products US
Karen Petryna,P.E.
HSE/Science and Engineering
cc: Aubrey Cool, Cambria
P.O.Box 7869 Burbank,CA 91510-7869 Phone (559) 645-9306 Facsimile (559) 645-5643
