CAMBRIA Mr Jeffrey Wong
August 26, 2005
Well Development and Sampling Blaine Tech Services, Inc (Blaine) of San Jose, California
will develop the new groundwater monitoring wells prior to sampling After well development,
Blaine will sample the site groundwater monitoring wells according to the existing sampling
schedule and submit the samples to a State of California certified laboratory for chemical
analyses
Chemical Analyses Selected soil samples will be analyzed for TPHg, BTEX, fuel oxygenates
(MTBE, ETBE, di-isopropyl ether, TAME, and TBA), 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA), and
ethylene dibromide (EDB) by EPA Method 8260B Groundwater samples from wells MW-12
through MW-11 will be also analyzed for TPHg, BTEX, fuel oxygenates, 1,2-DCA, and EDB
IS
Groundwater samples from the existing wells (MW-1 through MW-11) will be analyzed per the
existing protocol
Wellhead Survey Activities Following monitoring well installation, a licensed surveyor will
survey wellhead elevations relative to mean sea level and the wells' latitude and longitude
Report Preparation Following the receipt of analytical results from the laboratory, Cambria will
prepare a written report, which will include field procedures, laboratory results, boring logs,
conclusions, an updated site conceptual model, and cross-sections
Cambria will perform the scope of work described in this work plan under the supervision of a
professional geologist or engineer
SCHEDULE
Upon receiving work plan approval from SJCEHD, Cambria will schedule the field work (within
60 days, as requested) and submit a permit application to SJCEHD SJCEHD requests that
Cambria submit a report within 60 days of completing the field work Because Cambria would
like to submit an updated site conceptual model with the report, we propose that the report be
submitted 60 days following receipt of the laboratory reports (approximately 75 days after field
work completion)
7
