The plan needs to be updated to include <br /> the location of the additional spill equipment on the site map. There must be at least one emergency coordinator on <br /> site or on call to coordinate emergency response measures, and the following information must be posted by a <br /> phone: the name and phone number of the emergency coordinator; location of fire extinguishers, spill control <br /> equipment, and if present,fire alarm; and the phone number of the fire department, unless the facility has a direct <br /> alarm. Immediately update the map and provide a statement to the EHD once this has been corrected. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 303 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br /> equipment. <br /> Several gallons of used oil was observed in the secondary containment for the used oil drum in the hazardous waste <br /> area. All facility communications or alarm systems, fire protection equipment, spill control equipment, and <br /> decontamination equipment,where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure its proper <br /> operation in time of emergency. Immediately clean the secondary containment and begin this practice. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d) Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br /> Four black 55 gallon steel drums containing oily debris(all full)were observed without accumulation start dates in the <br /> hazardous waste area. <br /> Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste <br /> stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. Since it cannot be determined how long the <br /> hazardous waste has been on site, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste <br /> under manifest.
