(209)474-0386 <br /> Program Element: 1600- FOOD PROGRAM Complaint#: C00049588 <br /> DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br /> COMPLAINANT WAS IN THE FACILITY ON TUESDAY APRIL 2, 2019 DURING LUNCH AND NOTICED MANY <br /> UNPLEASANT THINGS. OBSERVED A COCKROACH WALKING AROUND THE SALAD BAR, A FEMALE EMPLOYEE <br /> GRABBED IT WITH A NAPKIN AND CONTINUED TO WORK WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS OR SANITIZE <br /> ANYTHING. THE COOK WAS SWEATING AND WIPING HIS FOREHEAD WITH BARE HANDS AND CONTINUED <br /> COOKING. ALSO SAW RANDOM PEOPLE WALKING BACK AND FORTH TO THE KITCHEN THAT DIDN'T APPEAR <br /> TO BE EMPLOYEES. THEY WERE EATING FOOD WITHOUTANY PROPER FOOD HANDLING. <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> #33 Nonfood Contact Surfaces Clean <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Hand sink has food residue. Use sink only for hand washing. Do not dump food in this sink. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:All nonfood contact surfaces of utensils and equipment shall be clean.(114115(c)) <br /> #45 Floors, Walls, Ceilings; Clean and Maintained <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Floors at cooks line are greasy. Clean by 1 week and on a routine basis. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION: The walls/ceilings shall have durable, smooth, nonabsorbent, light-colored, and washable surfaces. All floor <br /> surfaces, other than the customer service areas, shall be approved, smooth, durable and made of nonabsorbent material that is easily <br /> cleanable. Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas, except customer service areas and where food is stored in original <br /> unopened containers. Food facilities shall be fully enclosed. All food facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair. He seems to think that this is the same customer who likes to complain <br /> to our department.
