Wickland and Lincoln spent a good amount of time negotiating a lease termination <br /> agreement in which Wickland would remove the UST's and Lincoln would allow the continued access <br /> to the site. In mid 1999 Lincoln informed Wickland that they were pursuing a lease with an Arco <br /> Franchise and that they wanted to reuse the underground tanks. This was documented in an agreement <br /> entitled"Access Agreement"and required Wickland to execute a quitclaim for the site. Lincoln assumed <br /> control of all the onsite improvements including the UST's.
