The nozzle was not observed leaking or dripping at the time of the inspection.A <br /> one foot by one foot area of spilled material covered by absorbent sand was observed around the diesel exhaust fluid <br /> tank.Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately make a <br /> hazardous waste determination for the contents of the 5 gallon bucket and the impacted absorbent material, and <br /> manage it according the Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation <br /> explaining how this waste was managed. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 406 CCR 66261.7 Contaminated container not marked with date emptied or managed within one year of being emptied. <br /> One empty blue 55 gallon drum was observed near the diesel no. 2 and diesel exhaust fluid tanks that had previously <br /> contained hydraulic oil. Containers larger than five gallons that previously held a hazardous material shall be marked <br /> with the date they were emptied and managed within one year of being emptied. Immediately mark and manage all <br /> empty containers per this section and provide proof to the EHD. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Notes: Closing inspection. Please provide documentation of corrections for all violations. Closure of permit granted <br /> upon return to compliance. <br /> Inspector provided: return to compliance certification, household hazardous waste flier. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by June 12th, 2019. <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152).
