Craig Inc. <br /> Re: Flex boots upgrade <br /> Mason Center LLC, 6425 Pacific Ave., Stockton, Ca. <br /> Mr. Michael Kith, <br /> Due to the complexity of this project here is a recap of the project history <br /> 1.To date we had submitted an application and received a permit for the installation of new product <br /> piping, the installation of(6) new dispensers with under dispenser containment and the retrofitting of <br /> the existing tanks to meet the new requirements <br /> 2.Applied for and received a permit for the removal of the existing product lines <br /> Existing product lines have been excavated and removed, it was during this process that contamination <br /> was observed. <br /> 3.A plan for remediation was formed and approved and remediation activities commenced and <br /> concluded in the area of the product piping. <br /> 4.During the product piping installation and the tank retrofitting process an integrity test was done on <br /> the existing underground tanks. This test failed on all three tanks and it was decided that these existing <br /> tanks should be removed and new tanks should be install <br /> 5.Applied for and received a permit for the removal of the existing underground tanks <br /> 6. Applied for and received an extensive sampling plan in conjunction with the tanks removal through <br /> twenty five feet of peagravel <br /> 7. Excavated and removed three underground storage tanks and collected soil samples as per approved <br /> sampling plan <br />
