Y <br /> Additional Site Assessment and Remediation Work Plan <br /> Former STEFANO'S GAS STATION <br /> 1419 East Charter Way, Stockton, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Ms. Winifred Alexander, representing the Mary Gardella Trust, Advanced <br /> GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared the enclosed Additional Site Assessment and <br /> Remediation Work Plan for the property located at 1419 East Charter Way, Stockton, California <br /> (site).The work plan includes the advancement of a pair of soil borings for cone penetrometer testing <br /> (CPT)and collection of soil and ground water samples,and the installation of one ground water well <br /> and three ozone sparging points. The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1.A plan of the site <br /> is illustrated on Figure 2. Site background information is included as Appendix A of this work plan. <br /> This Work Plan is prepared as required by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department(EHD)by an October 2006 meeting and in accordance with the Central Valley Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)guidelines for the subsurface investigation ofUST sites. <br /> 2.0. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Based upon the analytical results of soil and ground water samples collected in past investigations, <br /> the EHD has required further investigation to determine the lateral and vertical extent of <br /> hydrocarbon-impacted soil and ground water.One pair of adjacent soil borings will be advanced for <br /> CPT and selected ground water and soil sampling.Additionally one soil boring will be advanced and <br /> completed as a ground water monitoring well,and three soil borings will be advanced and completed <br /> as ozone sparging points. <br /> The proposed work will consist of the following tasks: <br /> • Permitting and pre-field work activities; <br /> • CPT drilling and sample collection; <br /> • Drilling and installation of the monitoring well; <br /> • Drilling and installation of ozone sparging points; <br /> • Laboratory analysis of samples; <br /> • Preparation of a report of findings. <br /> 2.1.
