Woolsey Oil page 2
1501 E. Charter Way, Stockton.
The State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) has determined that
examples of necessary conditions include, but are not limited to:
• impact to, or potential impact to, a sensitive receptors (i.e. drinking water
wells) or,
• conditions that can be interpreted as an "immediate danger to public
health" (explosive conditions, the presence of free product liquid gasoline)
or,
• evidence that contaminated soils are, or may be, in contact with surface
waters.
Unless determined necessary, Responsible Parties should not conduct Interim
Corrective Action. They should aggressively continue to investigate the
subsurface conditions until the `problem' has been defined.
A work plan to continue your required investigation should be submitted to EHD
within ninety (90) days. EHD well installation permit applications, fees, and any
private party access agreement or City of Stockton encroachment permits should
be submitted at the same time. Please take the adequate and necessary steps
now to ensure that all required submittals are received at EHD within this period.
Thank you for your continued diligence in monitoring the subsurface conditions at
your site. EHD is looking forward to evaluating your investigative efforts and
hopefully determining what corrective action will best reduce your contaminant
mass and allow this site to be closed with No Further Action.
You should address your submittals to Michael Infurna, Senior REHS, and you
may contact him at (209) 468-3454 if you have any questions.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Enviro mental Health D' ' 'on
Michael J.
