San Joaquin Coturty. <br /> Environmental Health Department (EHD), dated°January 30,^12009; requesting that a soil vapor <br /> investigation be performed at the subject:site. On May 1S,2009, Ground Zero personnel supervised <br /> a shallow soil vapor survey near.the former'underground storage tanks (USTs) and the current site <br /> structure. The vapor survey was performed in accordance with Groand Zero's Workplan for-Soil <br /> Vapor Investigation and Vapor:,Intrusion Risk Evaluation-dated February 11, 2009:and the work <br /> ti incorporated EHD colrunents in the Workplan approval letter dated March 31`,2009. <br /> Figure 1 shows the location of the site; Figure2 depicts the current site conditions, and Figure 3 is a <br /> site plan showing the location,of.'the vapor:sainpling points. EHD correspondence is included as' <br /> Attachment A. y <br /> SITE BACKGROUND < µ <br /> The VPP5 Cardiock Facility, located at 1501 rW., Charter Way in Stockton; California (Site), { <br /> formerly operated as an automated refueling facility and had previously utilized two 4',000-gallon +; <br /> USTs containing diesel fuel and one 4,000-gallon UST containing unleaded gasoline. New USTs { <br /> were installed along the west`side of the building>and the Site currently operates as an automated <br /> refueling facility.
