Box 8130 dj .
Stockton, CA
RE: Holt Brothers Tractor Company 1541I, W. Charter Way Stockton.
'I
We have reviewed the site investigation report dated January
1989, prepared by Dames & Moore for Bio! National Corporation and
the soil gas survey dated July 1989, prepared by Dames & Moore }
for Pio National Corporation.
It is clear from the recommendations and conclusions of both
these field investigative works that further definition of the
extent of contamination is warranted. Additionally, these two
investigative reports satisfy the Preli ';. inary Report reporting
status. We feel that based on the recommendations in both the
reports, continued site assessment should take place and a
Problem Assessment Report be completed and submitted no later
than December 4, 1989. This report should concurrently be
Submitted to Regional Water Quality Control Board and Department i
of Health Services.
I have included Appendix A of the Regional Board Staff
Recommendations which outlines the information required in the
Problem Assessment Report, as well as the suggested
recommendations for remediation. Bio National has prepared a
suggested remediation which should be included in the Problem
Assessment Report recommendation and conclusions.
Joqi Khanna, M. D.
