Enclosed is a bill for local and Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board (Regional Board) supervision of cleanup at the site listed in the <br /> enclosed bill. You will be billed at a future date for State Board program <br /> management. <br /> The enclosed bill includes both site specific an program management charges. <br /> Site specific charges represent those charges far work done that is directly <br /> related to your site. Examples of such activities include sampling for soil or <br /> gr66nd water contamination, conducting site inspections, reviewing reports and <br /> workplans, or preparing correspondence. Activitiies performed for your site are <br /> itemized on the bill. A description of ractivity,; codes is included on the reverse <br /> side of this letter for your reference. <br /> The enclosed invoice charges for the billing period April 1, 1990 through <br /> June 30, 1990. If you received an invoice for carges for a previous billing <br /> period, the charges for that period are shownas "Previous Balance." Any payment <br /> you made on the previous billing is shown as "Pa ent Received." The total of <br /> any unpaid previous balance plus new charges is ' hown as "Total Amount Due." <br /> Program management charges include all other costs associated with initiating and <br /> maintaining program operations. Program management charges may include such <br /> costs as: space rental , office services and supplies, purchase of sampling <br /> equipment, training costs, and the salary and benefits of support personnel <br /> (i.e_ , clerical staff, accountant, program superrisor) . Program management <br /> charges also include Regional Board work. <br /> Your share of program management charges depends on how much site-specific time <br /> was charged to your site, compared with all site specific time charged by the <br /> local agency. For example, if 10 hours were changed to your site, and 1,000 <br /> hours were charged to all sites, then your share of program management costs <br /> would be 10 divided by 1,000 or one percent. <br /> SII <br />
