A <br /> "h i il 7 I,�Il✓1.� <br /> r y si I• =Its <br /> Working To Restore Nature <br /> 1710 Main Street <br /> Escalon, CA 95320 <br /> Phone (209) 838-3507 <br /> FAX (209) 838-3509 <br /> July 14, 1994 <br /> Ms Margaret Lagorio <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> P O Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> Subject Monitoring and Sampling Report, April through June 1994 <br /> Holt Bros , Site Code 1988, 1521 West Charter Way, Stockton, California <br /> Ms Lagorio <br /> This letter report will serve to document monitoring and sampling activities from April through <br /> June 1994 at the subject site (Figure 1) Groundwater monitoring and sampling was conducted <br /> on June 6, 1994 Activities included monitoring of the six groundwater wells on-site, sampling <br /> four groundwater monitoring wells for analysis of dissolved hydrocarbons and halogenated <br /> volatile organics and measuring the thickness of free product in well MW 1 <br /> GROUNDWATER MONITORING AND SAMPLING <br /> RESNA personnel performed groundwater monitoring and sampling on June 6, 1994 Field <br /> work consisted of measuring depth to water (DTW) in all wells and subjectively analyzing the <br /> water from wells MWI, MW2, MW3, MW4, MW5, and MW6 for the presence of sheen or <br /> floating product Well locations are shown on Figure 2 The depth-to-water in the wells ranged <br /> from 24 31 to 26 35 feet below the top of the well casings, an average water level rise of <br /> approximately 0 03 feet since the last monitoring event in March 1994 Groundwater monitoring <br /> data since December 1990 are summarized in Table 1 <br /> Groundwater elevation data suggests an irregular groundwater surface exists beneath the site <br /> The groundwater flow net beneath the site historically has varied considerably The <br /> irregularities in the measured depths-to-water may be due to the heterogeneous nature of the soils <br /> and/or the varying well depths A groundwater gradient map for the June 6, 1994 monitoring <br /> event is presented on Figure 2 <br /> E 500771QI DART LYI2QR 1994 F NL <br />
