No. CAD089681068 <br /> The California Department of Health Services (DHS) requests <br /> public comment on a draft CLOSURE PLAN for a hazardous waste <br /> storage tank owned and operated by Eldorado Chemical Co. (ECC) in <br /> Stockton, San Joaquin Co. , California. ECC is a batch blending <br /> operation that manufactures speciality cleaning compounds, paint <br /> strippers and detergents. <br /> The unit to be closed is an 8 , 000 gallon, inground tank and the <br /> associated underground piping. The tank was used to store <br /> wastewater generated from cleaning mixing tanks used to formulate <br /> finished products. <br /> The CLOSURE PLAN identifies specific steps that will be followed <br /> to permanently remove this unit and return its location back to a <br /> natural state. This Closure Plan is required by Title 22 of the <br /> California Code of Regulations, Section 67212 , and by regulations <br /> adopted pursuant to the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act <br /> 42 USC, Section 6901, et. seq. <br /> Copies of the CLOSURE PLAN may be reviewed at either of the <br /> following two locations: <br /> Stockton Public Library Department of Health Services <br /> 605 N. An extension of the 30-day comment <br /> period may be granted if the request for an extension adequately <br /> explains why more time is required to prepare documents. <br />
