Re-Manufacturing Closure Plan -4- 19 September 1991 <br /> sample, as proposed in the plan. A map showing the proposed sample locations should <br /> be submitted. <br /> While the lead samples should be surface samples, the samples for volatile and semi- <br /> volatile analyses should be collected at depth. <br /> Additional comment: <br /> Page 6 of the plan states, "For the purposes of this Plan and compliance with TPCA and <br /> ACL Order No. 90-236, the eastern limits of the contaminated impoundment soils are <br /> identified to extend only to the 18-inch storm drain adjacent to the SI, provided that <br /> the observed contamination to the east of the storm drain be investigated and <br /> remediated as necessary in the future. " However, this should read, " . . .provided that <br /> the area east and southeast of the storm drain be investigated concurrently with the <br /> closure of the TPCA surface impoundment.
