The surface impoundment was visually inspected on April 4 , 1991,
and no ponded liquids were observed. Therefore, no discharge is
occurring at this time. Re-Manufacturing is committed to comply-
ing with the requirements of the TPCA and ACL Order No. 90-236 .
Since the impoundment and Mormon Slough are now dry and no fur-
ther discharges are anticipated, Re-Manufacturing is anxious to
initiate closure activities at the site. We would appreciate
staff input on the above matters and any additional information
which would be necessary to complete an acceptable Closure Plan
and HAR for the facility. WaterWork and Re-Manufacturing person-
nel are available to meet with Board staff at the earliest possi-
ble convenience.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss any aspect of
this site, please do not hesitate to contact me at our Escalon
office (209) 838-3507 .
Respectfully,
WaterWork Corp.
Nora H.
