11. Provide monitoring with organic vapor analyzer for safety and health. <br /> Scope: <br /> The vast majority of the bores will be north of Building 11 [Fig. 2, attached]. We expect to use a <br /> truck with 6 inch auger for drilling. Precision Sampling of Oakland will be the driller. <br /> After sample cores obtained, they will be chilled on ice and shipped to a state certified lab <br /> for analyses. The bore will be backfilled with hydrated bentonite and resurfaced. The bores are <br /> not expected to reach local ground waters. But, if any perched water or ground water is <br /> reached, we may sample some of the waters. <br /> Additional Assumptions: <br /> 1. Fieldwork will take around 3 to 5 working days. <br /> 2. Drums for waste storage are provided at and will be store temporarily on SITE until <br /> disposal. <br /> 3. Tenants shall be kept at safe distance at the time of fieldwork. <br /> 4. Drilling contractor shall be a full-service major drilling contractor, with on-staff health and <br /> safety officer. <br /> Work schedule: <br /> 1. Starting date: to be scheduled as soon as possible after signing the contract (tentatively <br /> 6/23-6/27/2008). <br /> 2.
