MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM -4- <br /> RE-MANUFACTURING LTD, RENTAL MACHINERY CO., INC., <br /> AND STANLEY S. MOORE <br /> CLOSURE OF SURFACE IMPOUNDMENT AS CLASS I LANDFILL <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> The owner shall also propose a monitoring system and program pursuant to §2550.10 of Chapter 15 <br /> for determining the effectiveness of any corrective actions. <br /> GROUND WATER MONITORING <br /> The following monitoring program shall be implemented at the facility to determine compliance with <br /> the "water quality protection standard" which will be developed later. The monitoring network shall <br /> consist of background monitoring well MW-3 and downgradient monitoring wells MW-1 and <br /> MW-2. The location of these wells is shown on Attachment B. Samples from all monitoring wells <br /> shall be collected at the frequencies indicated in the following table. The owner shall continue to <br /> monitor these wells for the constituents and parameters specified below at the specified frequency <br /> until the owner's revised monitoring program is approved by the Board and the monitoring program <br /> is operational. <br /> Report in & Reporting <br /> Parameter/Constituent Units of Frequency <br /> Ground Water Elevation Feet and hundreds, MSL Quarterly <br /> Temperature (field) C Quarterly <br /> Turbidity NTU Quarterly <br /> Specific Conductance(field) µmhos/cm Quarterly <br /> pH (field) pH units Quarterly <br /> Total Dissolved Solids 1119/1 Quarterly <br /> Lead I µg/1 Quarterly <br /> 1 EPA Method 7421 shall be used for analysis of this constituent. <br /> Field and laboratory tests shall be reported in the quarterly monitoring reports. Electrical <br /> conductivity results shall be submitted on a site contour map. All parameters shall be graphed so as <br /> to show historical trends at each well. <br /> The ground water surface elevation (in feet and hundredths, MSL) in all wells shall be measured on a <br /> quarterly basis and used to determine the velocity and direction of ground water flow. This <br /> information shall be displayed on a water table contour map and/or ground water flow net for the site <br /> and submitted with the quarterly monitoring reports. <br /> SURFACE WATER MONITORING <br /> Surface water samples shall be sampled at upstream and downstream stations, SW-1 and SW-2, in <br />
