Administrative civil liability of up to $1,000 per violation per day may be <br /> imposed for non-compliance with the directives contained herein. <br /> REQUIRED ACTIONS <br /> IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Monitoring and Reporting Order No. R5-2002-0831 is <br /> rescinded and, pursuant to California Water Code section 13267, Occidental Chemical <br /> Company, J.R. Simplot Company, and PureGro Company shall conduct monitoring and <br /> reporting in compliance with the new Monitoring and Reporting Program No. R5-2012- <br /> XXXX according to the following: R, <br /> Monitoring Specifications <br /> 1. The Discharger shall implement monitoring according to the schedules shown in <br /> Table 1 and Table 2. There are 16 monitoring wells in the A-zone (MW-1, -2, -513, <br /> -6, -7, -8, -10, -11, -16, -23, -25, -26, -27, -28, -29, and -30), as shown in Figure 1, <br /> and 7 monitoring wells in the B-zone (MW-9, -15, -17, -18, -19, -22, -24), as shown <br /> in Figure 2. Monitoring wells MW-3 and MW-4 are to be destroyed. This Monitoring <br /> Order applies to these 23 monitoring wells and any monitoring wells installed for A <br /> routine groundwater monitoring subsequent to the issuance of this Order. The <br /> Discharger shall collect samples using standard Environmental Protection Agency <br /> (EPA) protocol. <br /> 2. There are also additional monitoring wells at this facility associated with a pilot study <br /> remediation project, which are regulated under Monitoring and Reporting Program <br /> No. R5-2008-0149-027. If there are any duplication of sampling requirements <br /> between the two Orders, one analysis may satisfy both requirements. It is not the <br /> intent of this Order to duplicate analyses. <br />
