(AGE) has prepared this Limited Subsurface <br /> Investigation Report for the property at 1919 East Charter Way, Stockton, California(the site). The <br /> Purpose of the investigation was to determine if impacted soil and ground water are present at the <br /> site. The scope ofwork included the advancement of five soil borings,collection and analysis of soil <br /> and one ground water sample and preparation of this report. The location of the site is illustrated on <br /> Figure 1 and a plan of the site, including boring locations, is illustrated on Figure 2. <br /> INTRODUCTIONBACKGROUND <br /> The site is located at 1919 East Charter Way in Stockton, California, and is situated in an area of <br /> mixed commercial and light industrial use. The site is currently utilized as a towing and vehicle <br /> storage facility. General property history has included residential use at the southeast corner from <br /> at least 1900 to present,a service station at the southwestern corner from at least 1960 through 1970 <br /> and general trucking and auto-related activities from 1978 to present.The prominent features on the <br /> subject property are depicted on Figure 2. <br /> The following information was obtained from review of public records for the subject property: <br /> Building permits were issued for the subject property as 1905 East Charter Way to Standard Oil for <br /> service station construction in early 1960 and for the demolition of two metal service station <br /> buildings and four tanks in December 1970.
