Quarterly groundwater monitoring of downgradient offsite
monitoring wells MW-7, MW-11, and MW-16 show consistent detections of 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-
DCA) over the last four quarters of groundwater monitoring.
The Workplan is approved with the following modifications:
• Soil borings will be continuously cored for lithology. Well screen placement will be based upon
boring lithology.
• Groundwater sampling and analysis will occur after 48 hours of new monitoring well
development if quarterly sampling is more than 30 days away. If 30 days or less, then all wells
will be sampled during the regularly scheduled quarterly event.
• All perimeter wells and groundwater plume core wells MW-1,MW-8, MW-9,MW-14, and
MW-16 will be sampled quarterly for all constituents. All remaining wells with detected
groundwater contamination will be sampled quarterly for the detected constituents, and annually
for remaining constituents.
If you have any questions please contact me at(916)464-4615 or bartoni@rb5s.swrcb.ca.Rov.
VJames L.
