The Workplan includes a scope of work to <br /> install one well cluster(two monitoring wells) at the southwest corner of the site, and a second well cluster(three <br /> monitoring wells) approximately 200 feet southwest of the site. The proposed work is appropriate and necessary <br /> to verify the lateral and vertical extent of contamination, and is approved. <br /> According to the 27 June 2001 Revised Monitoring and Reporting Program(MRP)No. 93-701, all new wells <br /> shall be sampled quarterly for a minimum of one year. If the new well is non-detect for all constituents listed in <br /> MRP No. 93-701, the sampling frequency for that well may be changed from quarterly to annually. Constituents <br /> to be analyzed on a quarterly basis include total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline,benzene, toluene, ethyl <br /> benzene,xylenes, 1,2-dichloroethane, and tertiary butyl alcohol. <br /> Please be aware that Article 12 was added to the Underground Storage Tank Regulations corresponding to <br /> Sections 2729 and 2729.1 of the California Code of Regulations requiring Responsible Parties to submit <br /> analytical and site data electronically. Enclosed is our letter(Required Electronic Deliverable Format for <br /> Laboratory and Site Data Submittals to Regulating Agencies),explaining how to obtain information to <br /> implement the requirements. To date we have not received the electronic data for your site. This information <br /> must be submitted as part of all future quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling reports. Reports <br /> submitted without electronic data will be considered incomplete. <br /> Please notify me a minimum of five business days prior to any site work or sampling.
