GeoAudit recommends that the next quarterly monitoring event be
' conducted in December 1993 .
5.2 Soil
' Analytical results of ' soil samples collected from wells VW-5
through VW-7 conf irm that these wells were drilled within the plume
of contaminated soil . GeoAudit is presently revising maps of TPH
' concentrations in soil to include the data from the new wells. The
revised maps will provide a baseline to track contamination levels
during the remediation phase.
' The addition of the new wells has reduced the remedial well spacing
to between 25 and 30 feet. Previous experience with in-situ
bioremediation projects has shown that bacterial growth and
' migration can produce a radius of influence of 15 feet in less than
one month.
' 6. 0 LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care
and skill ordinarily exercised by environmental consultants
practicing in this or similar localities. The findings were based
upon analytical results provided by an independent laboratory.
' Evaluations of the geologic/hydrogeologic conditions at the site
for the purpose of this investigation are made from a limited
number of available data points (i.e. monitoring wells) and
subsurface conditions may vary away from these data points.
