AT APPROXIMATELY 12:00 PM ON 12/16/2016 PARENT BECAME ILL WITH <br />SYMPTOMS OF DIARRHEA, VOMITING AND FEVER. COMPLAINANT BECAME ILL ON 12/17/2016 AT 4:00 AM WITH <br />SYMPTOMS OF DIARRHEA AND VOMITING. BOTH COMPLAINANT AND PARENT SAW A DOCTOR ON 12/19/2016 <br />AND WERE BOTH DIAGNOSED WITH FOOD POISONING. <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />Steam table -- 183.00º F Beans -- 108.00º F <br />Randell (2-door) prep -- 39.00º F Walk-in -- 49.00º F <br />Peppers -- 140.00º F <br />FOOD ITEM -- LOCATION -- TEMP º F -- COMMENTS <br />NOTES <br />Site visit-Facility was not aware of complaint. Facility sells about 400 burritos a day. Facility has not had any ill employees or <br />employees out of the country. All employees receive food handling training. Facility receives food from Pucci Foods, Del <br />Campo Produce and Weber Quality 3 times a week. Observed improper cooling of foods in large containers. Also observed <br />refried beans under steam table at 108F. Facility must keep food hot until there is room to add to steam table. Facility also <br />had cooked jalapeños out at room temperature without time or temperature control. Walk-in temperature is at 49F (maintain <br />temperature at or below 41F). Personal cup uncovered above steam table (corrected). Chemical spray lacked label <br />(corrected). Hand washing and restrooms were supplied. Wiping cloth left on prep surface and used between cooking food <br />without being stored in sanitizer bucket and having hands wiped on. Sanitizer buckets were set up and being used. <br />Refer to routine'sre-inspection for follow-up on the violations. <br />Sanitizer bucket-100ppm chlorine <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
