. 20 April 2005
AGE-NC Project No 95-0109
• 1,2-DCA concentrations have decreased to non-detect levels in the samples collected from
wells MW-1 and MW-3 In addition, 1,2-DCA detected during the March 2005 sampling
event from wells MW-4,MW-5 and MW-14 were the lowest concentrations recorded over
the past 5 sampling events 1,2-DCA concentrations increased from non-detect levels to low
concentrations ranging between 3 9 µg/l and 4 9 µg/1 in the samples collected from wells
MW-9 and MW-16
• Based on the data acquired over the past year, it appears the petroleum hydrocarbon
contaminant plume and 1,2-DCA plume have decreased in size Benzene concentrations have
been declining throughout 2004 and were non-detect during the first quarter of 2005 in all
wells sampled TPH-g and 1,2-DCA plumes are still present at the site but are declining in
size Treatment of the remaining TPH-g plume may be required
5.0. RECOMNENDATIONS
Based upon data collected from the site, AGE recommends
• • Continued quarterly ground water monitoring as required by Clean-up and Abatement Order
No 93-701 The next ground water monitoring event will be scheduled for June 2005
• Continuation of the 24-week ozone infection pilot test Ozone injection began on 14 October
2004
6.0. LINUTATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities The findings were based upon field
measurements and analytical results provided by an independent laboratory Evaluations of the
geologic/liydrogeologic conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation are made from a
limited number of available data points (I a ground water samples) and subsurface conditions may
vary away from these data points No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the
professional interpretations, opinions and recommendations contained in this report
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc
