The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been addressed for TRACY TOYOTA as of October26, 2018. Open violations from August 28, 2018 inspection Violation #114 - Failed to keep signed copy of manifests from the designated facility for three years. Manifest numbers: -014054411JJK (4/28/16) -014054412JJK (4/28/16) -017791774JJK (8/24/17) -017791835JJK (8/30/17) were found without a signed off copy from the destination facility. Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the destination facility on site for three years and have them readily available for review. If the generator did not receive a copy of the manifest with the handwritten signature of the owner or operator of the facility to which the generator's waste was submitted within 35 days of the date the waste was accepted by the initial transporter, the generator shall contact the transporter and/or the owner or operator of the designated facility to determine the status of the waste. If the generator did not receive a copy of the signed off copy of the manifest within 45 days of the date that the waste was accepted by the initial transporter, the generator shall submit an Exception Report that includes a legible copy of the missing manifest, and a cover letter signed by the generator explaining the efforts to locate the hazardous waste and the results of those efforts. Exception reports shall be submitted to: DTSC Report Repository Generator Information Services Section P.O. Box 806 Sacramento, CA 95812-0806 Immediately locate a copy of the missing manifests or prepare and submit an exception report to DTSC. Submit to the EHD a copy of the signed off copy of the manifests or a copy of the exception report submitted to DTSC. Violation #301 - Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. -Two metal filters were observed on the ground next to a blue metal 55 gallon drum of oily solids on the south side of the shop. -The brake lathe machine collection basin was full of brake lathe shavings and brake lathe shavings were observed on the floor around the machine. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment Immediately clean up the metal filters and brake lathe shavings and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations.
