i
l
Hazardous Waste Tank System July
Written Assessment per CCR Title 22
Tracy Toyota, 2095 Naglee Road,Tracy,CA 905304 2014
I ,
i Volume calculation(s)
Secondary Containment Calculations:
Waste Oil Tanks 1 & 2 have integral secondary containment. The volume of the !
1-inch line is calculated from a length of 20 feet and a diameter of 1 inch. The
line volume is then 1 gallon. The volume of the oil within the pump is less than Y2
gallon by observation. The line exterior to petroleum storage room is above
grade within the building above a concrete floor. A total failure of the line will
release less than 1 gallon of oil which would form a pool 118" deep by three feet
in diameter. The pool would by contained within the building.
• The tank and ancillary equipment are under roof, so the 25-year rain event
does not apply.
Petroleum Storage room 146 113 5 82490
Petroleum Storage Tank 1 32 64 2.5 5120
Petroleum Storage Tank 2 45 59 2.5 6638
Waste Oil Storage Tank 47 47 2.5 5523
Diameter Net cubic inches of containment 65210
Containment Volume- Gallons 282
Waste Antifreeze Tank Secondary Containment
The tank is single wall and has a working volume of 194 gallons. The tank is
indoors. The petroleum storage room has available-containment for 282 gallons -
i after subtraction of interference losses from adjacent tanks. The tank has
sufficient secondary containment capacity
Visual inspection of containment area:
Waste Oil Tank 2's interstice was dry.
The diked secondary containment for the waste antifreeze tank is dry and free of
cracks or other damage.
Site Security:
The storage areas are locked when unattended. The dealership has video
surveillance. The site is lighted and patrolled by the Tracy Police Department.
Secondary Containment findings: The secondary containment syste is of
sufficient capacity and condition for the containment of releases from all s
and ancillary equipment.
