The work proposed is approved with the
following conditions:
• Vapor well VW 12 is screened from 10 to 25 feet below surface grade
which is different than VW3 and VW4 and there is shallow contamination
in this area so VW 12 should be plumbed into the remediation system.
• EHD has been informed by your consultant that VW15 is damaged.
Vapor well VW15 is screened from 44 to 84 feet below surface grade
which is different from VW 16 which is screened from 20 to 40 feet below
surface grade and there is deeper contamination in this area. If VW 15
can be reconditioned it should be plumbed into the remediation system. If
VW 15 is no longer of use then it should be destroyed.
If you have any questions contact me at (209) 468-3449.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
Margaret Laagorio, Supervising REHS
Site Mitigation Unit
c: Marty Hartzell — CVRWQCB
Steve Carter— Delta Environmental
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
