Addendum To Work Plan September 19, 1989 <br /> Arco Station 760, Lodi, California AGS No. 38048-2W <br /> (4) Reference to Appendix A of Tri-Regional Board Recommendations for Minimum <br /> Laboratory Analyses Requirements. <br /> o The Regional Board Staff Recommendations for Initial Evaluation and <br /> Investigation of Underground Tanks recommends the following analyses for <br /> soil samples associated with waste oil: total petroleum hydrocarbons(TPH) <br /> as gasoline and diesel, benzene, toluene ethylbenzene, total xylene isomers <br /> (BTEX), total oil and grease (TOG), lead, cadmium, chromium, zinc, <br /> chlorinated hydrocarbons, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB), penochlorophenols <br /> (PCP), polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (PNA) and creosote. <br /> o Our work plan states we will submit appropriate soil samples to a laboratory <br /> certified by the State of California for TPH as gasoline,TPH as diesel,BTEX, <br /> TOG,lead,and 1,2-dichlorobenzene. The specific Environmental Protection <br /> Agency (EPA) preparation methods and analysis methods are stated in the <br /> work plan. <br /> o In addition,appropriate soil samples will be analyzed for chromium,cadmium. <br /> and zinc, PCP using EPA method 8089, PNA using EPA Melhod 800 and <br /> creosote by EPA Method 8270 using an open scan. <br /> o PCB's were not detected in the previous work; therefore, we do not <br /> recommend further testing for PCB. <br /> 4. <br /> (5 Site Safety Plan <br /> The attached site safety plan describes the basic safety requirements for the work <br /> at the work site. It as applicable to personnel of Applied GeoSystems and to <br /> subcontractors of Applied GeoSystems. The Applied GeoSystems geologist will be <br /> the Site Safety Officer onsite. Personnel at the site will be briefed on the contents <br /> of the site safety plan before work begins. A copy of the plan will be kept at the <br /> work site and will be availablz for reference by appropriate parties during the work. <br /> (6) Authorization to Release Analytical Data. <br /> The signed form is attached.
