Soil will be
examined during excavation for subjective evidence of
contamination including odor and visible discoloration, and using
an Organic Vapor Analver (OVA) , Hydrocarbon contamination in
Cie tank cavity will be excavated until no subjective. evidence of Wl,4
contamination remains if
Possible. If the volrme of removed
soil becomes excessive, soil contamination appears to extend
beneath the building, or tha depth of the excavation exceeds the
s
safe operating limits of the equipment, the excavation will be:
terminated and further procedures for remediation will be
evaluated.
6
A,opiied GeoSystems ---
