Box 388 • Stockton, CA 95201-0388 <br /> (209) 468-3420 <br /> 2-15-95 COP <br /> - <br /> Lloyd & Mildred Gums <br /> 731 Birchwood Drive <br /> Lodi CA 95420 <br /> RE: Request for additional sampling at 303 South Cherokee Lane, Lodi CA (Site #1319) <br /> Mr& Mrs Gums <br /> A review of the work plan for 303 South Cherokee Lane, Lodi, submitted to this office 1-13-95 has been <br /> completed and minor changes are needed based on the following information. <br /> On 1-30-95 field notes and site maps generated by staff from this office during the piping removal <br /> inspection dated 4-22-94 were submitted to Kevin Clutter of Twinning Laboratories for review. These <br /> notes indicate that conflicting information has been collected at this site with respect to the dispenser <br /> island piping at previously noted sampling locations#7,#8 and#10(see site map enclosed)near the south <br /> west section of the lot. Staff field notes indicate slight odors <br /> ted yet <br /> analytical data generated fail to support these observations. The initial phase of anntroleum y ste characterization <br /> on <br /> must sufficiently define the extent of petroleum hydrocarbon and other impacts to soil and or water. This <br /> includes the elimination of conflicting or contradictory data. As a result this office requests additional <br /> sampling at the above referenced locations in an attempt to resolve the noted conflict. <br /> In closing, please amend the work plan to reflect sampling at the above referenced location and remit to <br /> this office for review.
