Final de-
tection was by gas chromatography using a flame ionization dete^tor
as well as a photoionization detector and a Carbopack B/3% SP-1500
column.
The analytical procedure for EDB involved extracting the samples
with iso-octane. The resulting extracts of iso-octane were examined
by GLC using an electron capture detector and a Carbopack BJ1% SP--1000
mss,
column. Confirmation of positive residues was performed by GLC using
is an electron capture detector and an n-octane Porasil C column.
nd nonce detected _ Results
Stoner Sample Micrograms per_Liter
Lab. 11 Identification Volatile Hydrocarbons
Due to Gasoline Xylene isomers
Job ME6004 (includes benzene, and Ethylene
4/15/85 toluene and x•lenes) Benzene Toluene ethyl benzene dibromide
27$22 KYO-501, 11W-8 22,040. 4,600. 70D. 11300. nd
27823 KYO-502, Mw-6 140,000. 14,600. 28,000. 12,000. 1.4
27824 KYO--503, MW-7 240,000. 14,000. 32,000. 23,400.
