The south wall of the excavation wall located <br /> t= <br /> 1 immediately adjacent to the service garage, precluding further excavation in this direction. <br /> J A Specific work performed during this phase of investigation included: <br /> 1. Preparation of a Soil Contamination Workplan and Soil Remediation Proposal. <br /> Both were submitted to the San Joaquin County Health Department,Environmental <br /> Health Division on November 13, 1989. <br /> nj <br /> 2. Preparation of a Soil Sampling Plan, required by the San Joaquin Health <br /> Department prior to the excavation and disposal of the contaminated soil, and <br /> submitted to the Division of Environmental Health on January 12, 1990. <br /> 3. Excavation and disposal of approximately 100 cubic yards of contaminated soil to <br /> C <br /> the Amador County Landfill on January 16 and 17, 1990. <br /> 4. Withdrawal and disposal of approximately 500 gallons of contaminated water to the <br /> Chemical Waste Managed facility at Kettleman Hills, on January 17, 1990. <br /> t.E 5. Collection of four soil samples from the walls of the excavation a,id one <br /> groundwater sample. <br /> b. Analysis of the soil and water samples for purgeable halocarbons, purgeable <br /> aromatics, oil and grease, total petroleum hydrocarbons, cadmium, chromium, lead <br /> and zinc. <br /> i <br /> T.
