Petroleum Product Spill Reporting Procedures Guide <br /> For all petroleum incidents that involve spills on owned or leased property, or a linehaul or city <br /> tractor accident, the incident is to be reported as explained below. Examples of petroleum spills <br /> are diesel fuel, motor oil, and waste oil. <br /> Petroleum Incidents or Spills Relating to Storage Tanks: <br /> If a petroleum incident or spill involves underground or aboveground storage tanks and/or saddle <br /> tanks, the incident is first to be reported through the YRC Chemical Help Line. The following <br /> information explains the fuel spill procedures. <br /> ♦ If the spill is at the terminal, IMMEDIATELY UPON DISCOVERY,take steps to stop and <br /> contain the spill using oil dry, absorbent booms and/or pads.
