Further, your statements which <br /> make it appear that my clients are doing nothing in this <br /> matter could seriously jeopardize their right to receive <br /> money from the Underground Tank Cleanup Fund. Obviously, <br /> this is not in anybody's best interest. <br /> With respect to some of the specifics in your letter, I <br /> respond as follows: <br /> 1. We note that though we have advised Michael <br /> Infurna of each and every field activity at the site, he has <br /> not attended a single such activity. We wonder how much <br /> attention he has paid to this file at all; <br /> 2 . With respect to the levels of diesel contamination <br /> near the existing underground tanks, a review of the <br /> quarterly monitoring reports indicates that the amount of <br /> contamination has fallen considerably. There is a simple <br /> explanation as to why there is not a monitoring well down <br /> gradient of the tanks. That is because my clients are in <br /> the process of a site design change for the gas station. <br /> This will entail removal of the tanks, a cleanup of the <br /> soil, and reinstallation of the tanks to comply with current <br />
