Presently, six underground storage tanks (USTs) are located at the <br /> facility. Tank volumes and contents are as.follows: <br /> 1. 7,500-gallon Gasoline UST <br /> 2. 10,000-gallon Diesel UST <br /> 3. 10,000-gallon Diesel UST <br />- 4'. 8,000-gallon Gasoline UST <br /> 5.� 8,000-gallon Diesel UST <br /> 6. 2,000-gallon Gasoline UST <br /> All six USTs, piping and dispensers will'be removed with the enclosed application. Also enclosed with <br /> I <br /> the Permit package are two site plans of the facility; a sites specific health and safety plan; and the <br /> required UST removal permit fees of$1,404.00. Underground Service Alert (USA) will be contacted: <br /> at least 72=hours prior to initiation of excavation procedures to locate underground utilities. y <br /> Negotiations are.presently underway with the present tenants of the site to determine if new USTs { <br /> or above-ground''storage tanks (ASTs)will be installed at the.site. The PHS-EHD will be notified if <br /> new USTs or ASTs will be installed. <br /> As you are aware, a soil and groundwater investigation of the facility is.on-going. It is anticipated <br /> that hydrocarbon=impacted.soilwill be encountered during removal of the USTs. A Work Plan for <br /> excavation of additional impacted soil, to be performed immediately upon removal of the USTs, is <br /> being prepared by AGE.
