Mr. Ellis Cecchini March 23, 2012
3535 Cherokee Road Page 2 of 2
While the various actions toward site closure consideration were progressing, you and/or your
consultant put in a change order on the $35,000 the CUF had allocated for your site for the
.current year, and the CUF increased your allotment to $70,000.This is a very different direction
from site closure.
The EHD has been trying to determine which direction from the Cleanup. Fund should be
followed. Our.discussions and emails with the FYRC and the,CUF have not made this clear, but
the_EHD has received:verbal approval from.the FYRC to proceed.with remediation, therefore
the EHD approves moving forward with the remediation. The .EHD is not certain that a written
approval document from the FYRC will be provided that will state this.
The EHD understands that you would like to schedule a meeting and we will be pleased to meet
with you at a mutually- agreeable time before implementing the planned remediation to discuss
moving your site toward closure.
If I can be of further service to you or you have any questions, please contact me (Nuel
Henderson) at (209) 468-3436.
Sincerely,
'A
Nuel C.
