J
J
3 1 GROUND WATER ELEVATION AND GRADIENT
Depths to ground water at the site ranged between 65 57 to 66 31 feet below top of casing (btoc), ;
ground water elevations were between 37 48 feet(UST-2) and 37 69 feet(UST-6)below mean sea
rs level (MSL) The average ground water elevation at the site during the Second Quarter 2004 was '
37 60 feet below MSL, a decrease of 2 9 feet since the March 2004 monitoring event The ground
water table occurred within the'screened intervals of monitoring wells UST-2 through UST-6
Monitoring well UST-7 was designed to monitor deeper ground-water, with a 5-foot screened
interval set at approximately 21 feet below the water table, since it possibly is monitoring a different
hydraulic zone, UST-7 was not used to determine gradient and flow direction I -
General ground water flow direction at the site was inferred to be toward the northeast with a I'
gradient of approximately 0 001 fl/ft Figure 3 depicts the ground water elevation contours for
June 2004
IMonitoring data from UST-2, UST-3, UST-4 and UST-6 was combined with monitoring data
collected from the adjacent Moore Truck Lines property to determine an approximate regional
ground water flow direction
I3 2 ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES
During the June 2004 monitoring event, the following analytes of concern were detected in the well
I samples
tl
• TPH-g was detected in the sample -collected from well UST-5 at a concentration of
I230 micrograms per liter(µg/1), "
• 4,2-DCA was detected in samples collected from wells MW-5 and MW-6 at concentrations
I of 400,µg/1 and 3 4 µg/l, respectively, T
• MTBE was detected in the sample'collected from well UST-6 at 0 64 µg/1, r
• Tetrachloroethene(PCE)was detected in the sample collected from UST-7 at a concentration
of 19 µg/1, and 4
• Methylene chloride was not detected in samples collected, from wells, as during previous
monitoring events
No other target analytes were detected at or above laboratory reporting levels in the ground water
samples collected this quarter The laboratory reports(MAI Work Orders 0404468 and 0406066)and
chain of custody forms are included in Appendix B Analytical results of water samples collected
during the Second Quarter 2004 are summarized in Tables 2 and 3 The analytical results of all water
IAdvanced GcoEnviro n mental,Inc
t ! t I
S I `
