SPCC Plan — E. F. Kludt & Sons, Inc. Lodi, CA <br /> Leakage from Internal Heating Coils <br /> 40 CFR 112.8(c)(7) <br /> There are no internal heating coils within this system. The applicable <br /> requirements of 40 CFR 112.8(c)(7) do not apply to this facility or SPCC Plan. <br /> Engineer or Update Containers to Avoid Discharge 40 CFR 112.8(c)(8) <br /> E.F. Kludt & Sons, Inc. uses an automatic tank gauge system consisting of a <br /> California certified Veeder Root tank probe and an audible alarm on their USTs. The <br /> alarm will sound upon the tank volume reaching 90% of the tank's capacity. The UST <br /> system is also equipped with overflow prevention drop tubes. No UST can fill beyond 90 <br /> percent of its volume when the overflow prevention device is engaged. When the driver <br /> arrives on site and prior to unloading any oil product, they will verify tank space and <br /> insure that the oil product to be delivered will fit. If the audible alarm sounds during <br /> delivery the driver will cease all loading and secure the system. All the ASTs are <br /> protected from overfill by a Scully system. No tank or container, connected through the <br /> Scully system, will fill beyond 90 percent of capacity. <br /> Observe Effluent Discharge 40 CFR 112.8(c)(9) <br /> -- E.F. Kludt & Sons, Inc. does not employee a surface water effluent or water <br /> separation treatment system at this site. The requirements in 40 CRR 112.8(c)(9) are <br /> not applicable. <br /> Promptly Address Visible Discharge 40 CFR 112.8(c)(10) <br /> This is addressed within this Plan at 40 CFR 112.7(e). <br /> Mobile or Portable Storage Containers 40 CFR 112.8(c)(11) <br /> There are several mobile and/or portable containers within this system.
