WASTE DISCHARGE REQUIREMENTS -2- <br /> DEFENSE DEPOT TRACY <br /> TREATMENT PLANT <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> GROUND WATER MONITORING <br /> Existing downgradient monitoring wells LM2, LM3, and LM15, and the upgradient <br /> monitoring well LM79 shall be monitored as follows: <br /> Constituents Units Sampling Frequency <br /> Total Dissolved Solids mg/1 Quarterly <br /> Nitrates mg/l Quarterly <br /> Total Coliform Organisms MPN/100ml Quarterly <br /> BOD mg/l Quarterly <br /> EPA Methods 601/602 ug/l Quarterly <br /> WATER SUPPLY MONITORING <br /> A sampling station shall be established where a representative sample of the <br /> water supply can be obtained. The following shall constitute the water supply <br /> monitoring program: <br /> Constituents Units Sampling Frequency <br /> Standard Minerals mg/l Quarterly <br /> Total Dissolved Solids mg/l Quarterly <br /> SLUDGE <br /> A sample of sludge shall be collected annually or before disposal (whichever is <br /> more frequent) and analyzed for the following: <br /> Constituents Units Type of Sample <br /> Heavy Metals' mg/kg Composite <br /> Moisture Content percent Composite <br /> Acid/Base-Neutral Organics mg/kg Composite <br /> Heavy Metals to consist of Antimony, Arsenic, Barium, Beryllium, <br /> Cadmium, Chromium (total) , Cobalt, Copper, Lead, Molybdenum, Nickel , <br /> Silver, Thallium, Tin, Titanium, Vanadium, and Zinc by AA, GF, or <br /> ICAP methods. <br />
